Terms of Booking

The experiences are provided by Rosanna Coccia, sole trader, trading as La Vigna degli Dei, VAT number 06283821210, Via Castello Lauritano, 3, 80051 San Lazzaro (NA), Italy (“we”, “us”).

These terms apply to the cooking classes and farmhouse dinners booked through this website. Rooms are not booked online: to stay with us, write or call us and we will agree the details directly.

By completing a booking you accept these terms. Please read them before booking, and keep a copy: you can save or print this page at any time.

Prices are shown per person on the page of each experience. They are final prices in euros, including VAT where applicable.

Children: under 3 free; aged 3–6 €20; aged 6–10 €30. Children under 3 do not take a place.

Groups of up to 15 people are welcome. For larger parties, get in touch. We're happy to accommodate.

To book, you choose the experience, the date, the time and the number of guests, then enter your name, your email address and, if you wish, a telephone number and a note. Before paying you see a summary, and you can go back and correct anything.

You then add a card or PayPal, or pay the deposit, in the secure payment form provided by Stripe (see section 5). Your booking is confirmed as soon as this step is complete: the confirmation is shown on screen and sent to you by email.

The confirmation email contains the details of your booking and a personal link, through which you can view the booking, add it to your calendar and cancel it. The booking is concluded in English.

Your places are held for 30 minutes while you complete the payment step. If it is not completed, the places are released and nothing is charged.

The deposit is half the price of the adults in the booking. Children’s fees are not part of the deposit: they are paid on the day.

• If you book more than 7 days before the experience, nothing is charged when you book. You save a card or PayPal, and you authorise us to charge the deposit to it automatically 7 days before the experience, when free cancellation ends. The date is shown before you confirm and in the confirmation email.
• If you book 7 days or less before the experience, the deposit is charged immediately.
• The rest of the price, including children’s fees, is paid on the day, at the farm.

Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. Card and PayPal details are entered only in Stripe’s form: we never see or store them. The payment method you save is used only for the deposit of that booking.

If the automatic charge does not go through, for example because the card has expired, we email you a link to pay the deposit yourself. You have 48 hours to do so.

If the deposit is not paid within 48 hours, the booking is cancelled automatically, the places are released and we let you know by email. Nothing is charged.

Cancellation is free until the deposit is charged, that is until 7 days before the experience: if you cancel by then, nothing is charged and the payment method you saved is removed.

After that, the deposit is non-refundable, whether you cancel or do not come. If you cannot make it, please cancel anyway, so that we can offer your places to someone else.

You can cancel online with the personal link in your confirmation email, or by writing to us.

To change the date or the number of guests, write to us before the experience. Changes depend on availability.

If we have to cancel an experience, for example because of the weather or for reasons beyond our control, we will tell you as soon as possible and refund in full anything you have paid. If you prefer, we will offer you another date instead.

The experiences are leisure services provided on a specific date. For this reason the 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply, under Article 59(1)(n) of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) and Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU.

This does not affect free cancellation, which remains available under section 7.

Please arrive at the time you booked: the address and directions are on the page of each experience and in your confirmation email.

Ours is a working farm, with animals and kitchen equipment. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, and we ask everyone to follow the family’s instructions.

Please tell us about any allergy, intolerance or dietary requirement in the note when you book. Vegetarian and vegan options are available on request.

We cook in a family kitchen, and the dishes we make together naturally contain gluten, milk and eggs. We adapt what we can, but we cannot guarantee that a dish is free from traces of allergens.

If something goes wrong, please tell us: on the day, or afterwards at vignadeglidei@gmail.com. We will reply as soon as we can.

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection given to you by the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of your place of residence or domicile.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under applicable law. You may also use an out-of-court procedure for the resolution of consumer disputes, where available.

We use your data only to manage your booking, as explained in our privacy policy.

We may update these terms. The version in force on the day you book is the one that applies to your booking.
